The Farallonites Preview Reel

"The Farallonites" is a theatrical dance performance that evokes the lives of lighthouse keepers on the Farallon Islands off the coast of San Francisco in the 1860s. Audiences will find themselves immersed in another time and place complete with music adapted from popular songs of the era and the familiar sounds that come with living by the ocean. All this as the families on the Island go about their daily lives and chores surrounded only by water, waves, rain, wind, and birds and find purpose and yes, even joy, as they work to keep the lamp lit.

The Farallonites premiered September 16-18 at the Cowell Theater, San Francisco. It was also performed October 21 at the Arts and Cultural Center in Bangkok, Thailand and February 4-6, 2023 at the Lobero Theater in Santa Barbara.
