Vlog #3: Water

Another amazing rehearsal - this time at Alameda Beach.

This section is titled Water - part of Dana Lawton Dances' larger, full-length dance performance titled The Farallonites - due to premiere sometime in 2021 (we hope). "Water" draws on the many ways that water is present on the Farallon Islands - in the ocean surrounding the islands, in the way that potable water needs to be collected from the rain and dew, in the need to conserve water for cooking, bathing, laundry, and watering of plants. This section also draws on the monotony of living on the island and the many tasks that need to be done over and over.
